Terms of Use
IMPORTANT: Please read these Terms carefully. Ora Tarot provides tarot readings, AI-generated content, entertainment, self-reflection, and spiritual or personal guidance. Ora Tarot does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice and must not be used as a substitute for qualified professional services or emergency assistance.
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Kate Lushnikova and Polina Lushnikova, acting as the individual co-operators of Ora Tarot (“Ora Tarot,” “Ora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the Ora Tarot mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Ora Tarot is jointly operated by:
Kate Lushnikova and Polina Lushnikova
Russian Federation

The license to use the Ora Tarot iOS application is subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”), which applies unless a different license agreement is made applicable through App Store Connect. These Terms govern the Ora Tarot Services, including accounts, subscriptions, content, and related features, and supplement rather than replace mandatory Apple terms.
By downloading, installing, accessing, creating an account for, purchasing through, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Ora Tarot. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
If applicable law in your jurisdiction requires parental or guardian involvement for a person aged 16 or 17 to use a service such as Ora Tarot, you may use the Services only with that involvement or authorization.
If the date of birth or other information provided to Ora indicates that you are under 16, we may prevent account creation, restrict access, or terminate the account.
2. Nature and Purpose of Ora Tarot
Ora Tarot provides digital tarot experiences, AI-assisted interpretations, personalized readings, self-reflection tools, and related content. The Services are intended for entertainment, self-reflection, spiritual or personal guidance, and general informational purposes only.
Tarot readings and AI-generated content are interpretive and subjective. They do not establish facts, predict future events with certainty, diagnose conditions, determine legal rights, guarantee financial outcomes, or replace your own judgment.
No Professional Advice
Ora Tarot is not a medical provider, mental-health professional, lawyer, financial adviser, investment adviser, accountant, therapist, emergency service, or other licensed professional service. Nothing in the Services constitutes or should be understood as medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice.
You should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional where professional advice is appropriate. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on or after using the Services.
No Emergency Use
Ora Tarot is not designed for emergencies or crisis response. Do not use Ora Tarot to obtain emergency medical, mental-health, law-enforcement, or safety assistance. If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger or requires urgent assistance, contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional in your location.
3. AI-Generated Content
Certain readings, interpretations, responses, summaries, prompts, and other outputs available through Ora Tarot are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence (“AI Content”).
AI Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, unexpected, repetitive, offensive, or unsuitable for your circumstances. AI systems may misunderstand context, make factual errors, or generate statements that sound confident even when they are incorrect.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI Content is generated automatically and is not reviewed by a qualified professional before being shown to you unless expressly stated otherwise;
- AI Content should not be treated as a factual determination, professional opinion, guarantee, instruction, or prediction;
- you are responsible for evaluating AI Content before relying on, acting on, sharing, or otherwise using it;
- you should independently verify material factual information and obtain professional advice where appropriate; and
- similar or identical AI Content may be generated for other users, and AI Content is not guaranteed to be unique.
We may modify the AI models, providers, prompts, safety systems, personalization logic, or other technology used to generate AI Content at any time, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
4. Accounts and Registration
You must create an account to access certain or all features of Ora Tarot. Registration may be available through email, Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or other methods we make available.
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account information reasonably current, and maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures or otherwise provided by applicable law.
You may not sell, rent, transfer, sublicense, or share an account in a manner that circumvents purchase, subscription, eligibility, or security restrictions.
5. Personalization and Reading History
Ora Tarot may use information you provide, including your profile information, prior readings, conversation history, selected cards, and prior interactions, to provide contextual and personalized readings and AI Content. The processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You remain responsible for the information you choose to submit. Do not provide passwords, full payment-card details, government identification numbers, or other information that is unnecessary for a tarot reading or AI interaction.
6. Subscriptions
Ora Tarot may offer auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to premium features, increased usage, additional readings, or other benefits described in the applicable purchase screen.
Subscription Terms
Before purchase, the App Store purchase interface will display the applicable subscription period, price, available trial or introductory offer, and other material purchase information. The specific benefits included in a subscription may vary by plan and will be described in the application.
Unless otherwise stated, an auto-renewable subscription continues and renews automatically for successive subscription periods until cancelled through Apple in accordance with Apple’s applicable terms and account settings.
Apple processes subscription charges through the payment method associated with your Apple Account. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Cancellation
You may cancel an App Store subscription through your Apple account or subscription settings. Cancellation prevents future renewal but generally does not retroactively cancel the current paid subscription period. Unless Apple provides otherwise, you may continue to access the applicable subscription benefits until the end of the then-current paid period.
Deleting the Ora Tarot application or deleting your Ora Tarot account does NOT automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. If you have an active auto-renewable subscription and want to stop future billing, you must cancel the subscription through Apple.
Free Trials and Promotional Offers
If we offer a free trial, introductory price, promotional subscription, or similar offer, the specific eligibility rules, duration, and conversion terms will be displayed before purchase. Unless otherwise stated in the offer and permitted by Apple, a trial or promotional subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the applicable renewal or conversion date.
Eligibility for trials and promotional offers may be limited by Apple, by account, by subscription history, by territory, or by other lawful criteria disclosed with the offer.
Price Changes
Subscription prices may change. Apple will handle notices, consent, billing treatment, or renewal consequences for App Store subscription price changes as required by Apple’s rules and applicable law.
7. Purchases and In-App Transactions
Certain features, digital content, subscriptions, or other digital items may be available for purchase through Apple In-App Purchase. Purchases are subject to the price and terms shown in the App Store purchase flow at the time of purchase.
All App Store purchases are processed by Apple and may also be subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and other applicable Apple terms. Taxes, currency conversion, billing, and payment processing may be handled by Apple based on your account and location.
We may use third-party subscription or entitlement infrastructure to verify purchases and provide access to purchased features, but such infrastructure does not independently change Apple’s billing relationship with you.
8. Refunds
For purchases processed by Apple, refund eligibility and refund decisions are generally handled by Apple under Apple’s applicable refund policies and local law. We do not independently control Apple’s approval or denial of refund requests.
If you wish to request a refund for an App Store purchase, you must submit the request through Apple’s available refund process. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or consumer rights that apply to you under mandatory law.
If Apple issues a refund, reversal, chargeback, or other adjustment for a purchase, we may revoke or adjust the corresponding subscription entitlement or digital benefits associated with that purchase to the extent permitted by law.
9. Account Deletion
You may initiate deletion of your Ora Tarot account through the account-deletion functionality available within the App.
Account deletion is intended to permanently close the account and trigger deletion or de-identification of associated personal information from active systems, subject to the limited exceptions and backup retention described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Before deleting an account, you are responsible for considering the consequences of deletion, including loss of reading history, preferences, and other account-specific content or benefits that are not required by law to survive deletion.
IMPORTANT: Account deletion does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. You must separately cancel an active subscription through Apple to stop future renewal charges.
10. User Content
“User Content” means questions, prompts, comments, profile text, feedback, and other content that you submit to Ora Tarot, excluding information generated solely by Ora or its systems.
As between you and Ora Tarot, you retain any rights you may have in your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, format, adapt, and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, personalize, maintain, and improve the Services, comply with law, and carry out the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content and that your User Content and use of the Services will not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.
11. Rights in AI Outputs
To the extent Ora Tarot has rights that can be licensed in AI Content generated specifically in response to your use of the Services, and subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable where legally permitted, royalty-free license to use that AI Content for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
This license does not transfer ownership of the Ora Tarot application, prompts, system instructions, models, databases, designs, card artwork, branding, software, or other underlying intellectual property.
Because AI-generated material may not be unique and intellectual-property treatment of AI-generated material differs across jurisdictions, we do not represent or warrant that AI Content is copyrightable, unique, free from third-party rights, or capable of exclusive ownership by you.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Ora Tarot only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use or attempt to use the Services to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, or legally enforceable obligation;
- harass, threaten, exploit, stalk, abuse, defame, or unlawfully discriminate against another person;
- submit, request, create, or distribute content that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
- facilitate fraud, impersonation, phishing, identity theft, deception, money laundering, or other unlawful conduct;
- obtain instructions intended to cause serious physical harm, facilitate violence, or assist criminal activity;
- upload malware, malicious code, or content designed to interfere with, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
- probe, scan, circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, safety, access controls, usage limits, rate limits, subscription controls, or technical restrictions;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, extract, or systematically copy the Services or their content except where expressly permitted by us or by mandatory law;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive source code, or create derivative works of the App except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- use automated means to create accounts, manipulate usage, exploit promotions, or artificially generate activity;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights of another person;
- submit another person’s highly sensitive information without an appropriate lawful basis or permission; or
- use Ora Tarot in a manner that materially disrupts the Services or prevents others from using them.
We may use reasonable technical or operational safeguards to enforce these restrictions. We are not required to proactively monitor every private interaction, but we may investigate suspected violations where permitted by law and consistent with our Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual Property Rights
The Services and all elements of Ora Tarot, including software, source and object code, interfaces, databases, product logic, prompts and prompt systems, tarot card designs and artwork created for Ora, graphics, text created by us, logos, trademarks, trade dress, animations, audio, visual design, compilations, and other materials provided by Ora (collectively, “Ora Materials”), are owned by or licensed to Ora Tarot and are protected by intellectual-property and other laws.
Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no right, title, or interest in the Ora Materials is transferred to you.
Your right to install and use the Ora Tarot iOS application is subject to the Apple Standard EULA and applicable Apple usage rules. Except for the rights necessary to use the Services as permitted by those terms and these Terms, no right, title, or interest in the Ora Materials is transferred to you.
Ora Tarot, Ora, associated logos, and other source-identifying names or graphics may be trademarks or trade dress of the Operators. You may not use them in a manner that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without prior written authorization.
14. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide ideas, suggestions, feature requests, or other feedback about Ora Tarot (“Feedback”), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, develop, and otherwise exploit that Feedback without restriction or compensation, provided that this does not give us ownership of personal information contained in the Feedback. Personal information remains subject to the Privacy Policy.
15. Third-Party Services
Ora Tarot may rely on or interoperate with third-party services, including Apple, Google, cloud infrastructure, AI providers, subscription-management providers, communications providers, and other technology providers. Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate third-party terms and privacy policies.
You agree to comply with applicable third-party terms when using the Services. We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent they are operated independently of us, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
16. Service Availability, Changes, and Discontinuation
We may update, modify, add, remove, suspend, limit, or discontinue features of Ora Tarot from time to time, including AI models, tarot spreads, Personal Code features, usage limits, premium features, interfaces, and technical infrastructure.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely or in every country, language, device, or App version. We will comply with applicable consumer law regarding paid features, subscriptions, purchased digital items, and material changes.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, technical issues, force majeure events, provider outages, or other circumstances reasonably outside our control.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Ora Tarot at any time and may delete your account as described above.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you have materially violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, created a security risk, failed to pay amounts lawfully due through the applicable purchase mechanism, or where suspension is reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect the Services or other persons.
Where appropriate and legally required, we may provide notice or an opportunity to remedy a violation before termination. Serious, unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or security-threatening conduct may result in immediate action.
Termination of your Ora account does not itself cancel an App Store subscription. Subscription billing remains subject to Apple until the subscription is cancelled or otherwise ends.
18. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT TO THE EXTENT SUCH WARRANTIES MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- tarot readings, AI Content, interpretations, or predictions will be accurate, complete, suitable, or produce any particular outcome;
- the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components;
- all errors will be corrected;
- AI Content will be unique or free from similarities to third-party material; or
- use of the Services will improve relationships, health, finances, career outcomes, emotional well-being, or any other personal circumstance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, statutory rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.
19. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ORA TAROT AND THE OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITY, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR ORA TAROT THROUGH THE APP STORE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 100.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, or other categories that applicable law requires to remain unlimited.
20. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, if you use the Services on behalf of a business or other legal entity, that entity agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ora Tarot and the Operators from third-party claims arising from that entity’s unlawful use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
This Section does not require an individual consumer to indemnify us to the extent such an obligation would be prohibited or unenforceable under applicable consumer law.
21. Apple App Store and Standard EULA
If you obtain Ora Tarot through Apple’s App Store, the license to the iOS application is governed by the Apple Standard EULA unless a different license agreement is made applicable through App Store Connect. These Terms separately govern your use of Ora Tarot’s Services and supplement applicable Apple terms. Apple’s Standard EULA is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
Apple Relationship
These Terms are between you and the Operators of Ora Tarot, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for operating the Services or providing Ora-specific support, except to the extent Apple has obligations under its own terms or applicable law.
Purchases and Subscriptions
App Store purchases, subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and refunds are also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and other applicable Apple policies.
Support
Questions, complaints, or claims concerning Ora Tarot should be directed to support@oratarot.app.
22. Privacy
Our collection, use, storage, disclosure, and other processing of personal information is described in the Ora Tarot Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding the processing of personal information, the Privacy Policy will control with respect to that processing unless applicable law requires otherwise.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, purchases, legal requirements, technology, or our business practices. We will update the “Last Updated” date when we make changes.
If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law. Changes will not retroactively deprive you of paid rights or statutory protections where prohibited by law.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Services. Where legally permitted, continued use after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance.
24. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you in your country of residence remain unaffected.
Subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring proceedings in another competent forum, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Moscow, Russian Federation.
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable consumer, privacy, or statutory rights available under applicable law.
25. General Terms
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any purchase-specific terms presented to you, constitute the agreement between you and Ora Tarot concerning the Services, except to the extent separate mandatory Apple terms also apply.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
No Waiver
A failure to enforce a provision of these Terms is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent, except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to do so. We may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, incorporation, financing, merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or transfer of the Ora Tarot business, subject to applicable law.
No Agency
These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, fiduciary, or agency relationship between you and Ora Tarot.
Language
Ora Tarot may provide translations of these Terms. If there is a conflict between language versions, the English version will control to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory local-language consumer rules remain unaffected.
